Hofner Vintage Series Violin
Guadagnini model. Built on a 1757 example by Giovanni Battista Guadagnini (1711-1786). Influenced by Cremonese makers but leaving his own mark stylistically, Guadagnini lived an interesting and somewhat nomadic life, making remarkable instruments in Piacenza, Milan, Parma, and Turin over a 50 year period. Includes ebony Parisian eye pegs and endbutton, Despiau "A" level French bridge, ebony tailpiece with E tuner, Guarneri model ebony chinrest, and Pirastro Evah Pirazzi Gold strings (silver G, loop end E). 4/4 only.
